It allows equal power distribution carrying a siting person and facilitates unrestrained blood circulation to all body cells. The structure of the cushion is based on a system of large number of small elastic air chambers giving an effect similar to floating on the surface of liquid. Cushion air pressure may be adjusted by the user by means of a valve and pump being supplied with the cushion. Due to this simple adjustment PNEUMAT is a universal product with the possibility of fitting to user's changing weight and his/her muscular power. One cushion may be used by many people. The PNEUMAT 1 cushion is a one chamber PNEUMAT 2 cushion divided into two chambers. Two independent chambers facilitate proper placement of pelvis and lower limbs of the sitting person. 3. The inflatable cushion (1 or 2 section) together with the cushion of visco-elastic in common cover enable join its properties in one product with the highness 10 cm. These cushions could be used separately if we change for inflatable cushion cover to 5 cm highness.

pz3The variable-pressure antibedsore cushion PNEUMAT ZM is based on the two-compartment static cushion PNEUMAT IIKN - Fig. 1. It operates simultaneously with a compressor that automatically inflates two systems of compartments, A and B, every 5 minutes - Fig. 2. Each system consists of 32 compartments. Depending on the user's weight, pressure of the air delivered by the compressor can be modified accordingly. The pressure variability ensures better blood flow and better feeding of blood cells by means of forcing better blood circulation (massage). This permits prolonged, comfortable and safe sitting, in particular to the users of wheelchairs.

The compressor can be easily detached, which makes the cushion work as a static, two-compartment one, with every advantage preserved. The inflatable compartments fit the body shape and permit uniform pressure distribution on the wheelchair seat. The compartment design of the cushion enables ventilation of the seat by unrestricted release of excessive heat and moisture on the conviction principle.

The flexible and smooth surface of the upper cover facilitates position changing. The upper cover is made of antislip material and prevents undesired sliding of the pillow.

The variable-pressure antibedsore cushion PNEUMAT ZM is the most universal and effective aid in the bedsore prophylaxis for wheelchair users. It permits comfortable operation near the compressor's power source - 230 V~ and, after being detached, prolonged and safe moving in the wheelchair.

MULTI-MODULE ANTIBEDSORE AIR MATTRESS STATIC

luzko-ortThe mattress is based on the antibedsore air cushion PNEUMAT and offers all of its usable and operational qualities in the bedsore prophylaxis. The mattress consists of modules 75 x 40 cm and can be arranged according to individual needs and financial resources. Each module of the mattress constitutes a separate whole. It is composed of 128 air-filled flexible compartments connected to one another. Both air filling and pressure control are done by means of a pump and air valves. In each module of the mattress, pressure can be modified depending on the user's needs, weight and the body part it is applied to.

As a result of non-uniform load, the air is forced into those compartments that are less loaded and the surface of the mattress fits the body shape. This permits a uniform distribution of forces that carry the patient, and ensures free inflow of oxygen as well as other nutritive components to the body cells, preventing formation of bedsores. The gaps between the compartments provide sufficient ventilation between the body and the mattress, excessive heat abstraction and sweating reduction.

The material the mattress compartments are made of is highly resistant to the action of urine or faeces; it facilitates maintenance of hygiene thanks to its washability in generally available cleansers and disinfectants. This enables to even up the whole surface and acts as an antibedsore mattress, since the shape of the compartments in these modules is similar to that of the air module. Due to the price difference between the air module and the foam module, there is a possibility of a flexible selection of both modules according to needs and financial resources.

The mattress consists of modules 77 x 40 cm and can be arranged according to individual needs and financial resources. Each module of the mattress constitutes a separate whole. It is composed of 128 flexible compartments divided into two systems, A and B, filled automatically with air every 5 minutes. Depending on the user's weight, pressure of the air delivered by the compressor can be modified accordingly. The pressure variability ensures better blood flow and better feeding of blood cells by means of forcing better blood circulation (massage).

The compressor can be easily detached by way of removing the intermodular hoses, changing the plastic tee into air valves, which makes the pillow work as a static one. In this version, both inflation and pressure control are effected by means of a pump and two air valves (as in the two-compartment pillow).
